I was on a bicycle, riding through a hilly, valley forest in the morning. The cascading sunlight was pure and clear, as if it were water having taken the form of light. The air was as clean as could be, fresh with the fragrance of a forest alive. The trees were mostly deciduous; a variety of Maple, Birch, Aspen and similar species.
I felt completely at ease; cycling throughout the forest’s hills was effortless. I oscillated between cycling, and walking very delicately upon the path I was on, so as not to disturb it. The bicycle, it seemed, was at times made of a substance little more dense than air, and at other times was more solid and tangible.
The entire dream felt both brief and eternal, and was filled with the quiet euphoria that often fills dreams like a fluid that is present, but invisible; untouchable.
The further along the path I travelled, the more I began to notice what was beneath my feet. At first, the path was composed of soil and gently scrambling ground cover - the occasional exposed root from nearby trees - and eventually small, perfectly polished, pebbles began to emerge, becoming ever larger as I continued.
They were somewhat translucent, and the light of the sun caused them to take on a smoky glow within. They were a selection of deep, rusty oranges, ambered browns, and creamy off-whites. The white ones were the most translucent; the orange ones were a little less so, and the brown ones were nearest to opaque.
The further along they went, the larger the pebbles became, until just before I awoke, when they had become the size of an average outstretched hand.
There is an element of irony within the title, that I didn’t really notice at the time, as a portion of the dream contained large pebbles rather than small ones… though, they still carried the spirit of the earlier, smaller stones.

James Bernard confuses time. These suite of tracks play tricks with you, everytime you listen to 'em. Some times fast, sometimes slow, sometimes scary, sometimes mellow. All I can say, is that's its always beautiful no matter what time of the day you play. So nice to feel the 90's so close again. Polly Jean Neon Queen

I bought the record because it's stunning. So lush, with lovely layered textures. At times it's grand and emotional and restrained and tempered in other moments. I just realized that there was a code included in the package. Thanks so much. Clarisa Kimskii
